Windows 10 Start menu, notification center, store apps not working
Switch to another (newly created) user - problem is there as well ruling out solutions related to AppData\Local\TileDataLayer directory, i.e. I've tried a few things to solve the problem. I'm thinking I'm going to have to (1) restore from an older backup, and (2) re-run my Rails migrations to fix.A few days ago my win10 pro machine (圆4/build 14393) stopped opening the start menu (which is not so important since I still can use ClassicShell), and - more importantly - the info center and all apps are missing (including Microsoft Edge). I restored a backup copy of the database from before the time it was not changing in file size, and still getting strange issues. I then took a look at my daily backups, and I see that the database backup hasn't changed in file size for 3-4 days - very strange.
